Structure

This project is located on Las Delicias Avenue, in the City of Maracay, Venezuela. It contemplates a development of 50,000m2 on a 160,000m2 site. The proposal is diversified into 34,000m2 of commercial area and 15,000m2 of recreation.

We are contracted to generate proposals for facades on an existing macro steel structure abandoned in the middle of the city, in which a large-scale commercial project was developed. The proposal had to be restructured as the material had been chosen, where we proposed a façade that would naturally ventilate the interior, from micro-perforated sheets that would fix into the steel structure, leaving vertical slots to let light in and in those gaps, we included vegetation, revaluing the original industrial condition.
